Dwane Joshua - Head Coach
A native of Jacksonville, FL. Coach Joshua has over 8 years of coaching experience, and 4 years of professional experience in the ABA as a player. Coach Joshua attended North Carolina AT&T State University where his leadership, dedication and hard work earned him the honor of being named team captain for 3 of his 4 seasons. Described as a “3- point weapon” for the Aggies, Coach Joshua played a pivotal role in leading his team to its first regular season title in over 15 years. Under the great Coach Phillip Stitt, Coach Joshua was one of the first freshmen to ever win the Coaches Award. His coaching career began with the Jacksonville Nets where he led them to 6 championship titles. He continued this success at Stanton College Preparatory School and then to Florida’s powerhouse; Potter’s House Christian Academy. Coach Joshua has helped over 40 student athletes earn scholarships and has mentored many more throughout his coaching career. Coach Joshua is excited to be named the Head Coach of the Nassau Pride and is ready to bring his knowledge to the board, skills to the field, enthusiasm to the players and excitement to the county.
Julian Williams - Scout and Recruiting Coordinator
Coach Julian Williams is a native of Fort Lauderdale, FL and currently resides in North Florida. He is a graduate of Rasmussen College, where he received a Bachelors degree Sports Management with a minor in Psychology. Coach Williams joins the Nassau Pride with a wealth of knowledge, previously coaching in the professional and high school levels. Coach Williams has a passion for basketball, loves teaching the game and has an eye for scouting & recruiting high level talent. Over the course of his career, he has worked with numerous NBA G-League teams and basketball camps. Coach Williams is excited to be apart of the Nassau Pride family and looks forward to big things from the team and organization.
