Nassau Wins Big in Baker County

NASSAU COUNTY, FL., March 1, 2021 —The Pride were victorious Saturday night with a 135-89 win over the St. Mary’s Bucks. “Overall it was a good team win” said Coach Joshua. The Pride are peaking at the right time of the season with a new found focus on tough defensive.

“I’ve challenged the guys all year to make a conscious effort to hold opponents under 80 points” said Coach Joshua. In a high scoring league, catered to fast pace offense and 3D opportunities, holding a team under 100 points is a tall task. “The fact that we were only 9 points away from reaching our “under 80 goal” is telling me we are indeed peaking at the right time“ said Coach Joshua.

The Pride look forward to a big weekend as they face the Atlanta Aliens on March 6th and the #5 Ranked Columbus Blackhawks on March 7th in a Weekend Double Header.
