Pride Cruise Over Bucks

NASSAU COUNTY, FL., January 10, 2021 — The Pride cruised over the St. Mary’s Bucks with a 162-112 victory. “For the most part our guy were really committed to executing the offense and getting the most efficient opportunity every possession.” said Coach Joshua. The team finished with 42 assist and 13 turnovers.

The Pride focused on defense and taking the Bucks out of their rhythm. “Defensively, we jumped out early and the guys locked into the game plan with constant ball pressure” said Coach Joshua. One critique Coach Joshua mentioned was about the team getting sloppy in the second half. He reiterated that to be a championship caliber team, they will have to close out games better than the way they did last night.

“All in all, it was a great team win. Unfortunately we had some technical difficulties and could not broadcast the game. The issues will or certain be resolved by the next home game”, said Dr. Jeremy Coleman, President of Business Operations. The Pride travel to Columbus Georgia next Saturday, January 16th to take on the #2 ranked Columbus Blackhawks.
